About Us
Swimming is our chosen sport and the Corrimal Swim Club has a strong and competitive history
that includes social Friday night swimming as well as the competitive Carnival, Regional, State and National
Racing Events. Swimming promotes life skills such as positive self esteem, time management, commitment and
self reliance and respect for others. Swimming training is undertaken all year round at the heated
Corrimal pool and our swim Club is based on a backbone of competitive and quality instruction from our swim
Coach’s. We invite you be part of this exciting sport at the Corrimal heated 50m.Pool.
To compete on a Friday night it will be necessary to join the club. The Friday night swim is based on an
individual point score allocation wherein swimmers principally compete against their previous times. The
main aim of the Friday night point score is to encourage swimmers of all ages and standards to enjoy a fun social
night with BBQ facilities whilst improving their times.
We are a volunteer organization that encourages active sport participation for the whole family whilst making
available facilities and instruction for those wishing to excel and compete at the highest level.

CLUB MEETINGS
Club Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 6.00 pm (time may change with daylight saving)
in the clubhouse & all members & parents are very welcome. If you want to have your say, come along to the
meeting and put forward your suggestions. The club specifically is there to promote swimming and all offers
of assistance will be greatly appreciated in the interests of the smooth running of the club. CLUB SPONSORS

CLUB UNIFORM
Club uniforms are available from our Apparel Manager Ann Waters. Ann has a large range of clothing & swimming
equipment on display so if you wish to order something you can find her in the clubhouse on most Friday nights.
Club Uniform consists of:

- T-Shirts (long sleeve and short sleeve)
- Jackets
- Rugby Jumpers ($20.00 deposit)
